What is energy optimisation?
Energy optimisation allows you to manage your consumption in an efficient and responsible way.
Four key points :
1) Optimising available energy
Energy optimisation allows to adapt the load of the vehicles dynamically to the energy consumed by the building. To achieve this, our system takes into account the energy used by the building to deduce the remaining capacity in order to adapt the charging level of the vehicles. It can then automatically charge your car at low speed when the building’s power consumption is high, and charge at higher power when the building’s power consumption is low, for example when it is absent or at night.
In business installations, in order not to exceed the maximum energy available at the meter, our optimisation system will automatically distribute the power to all sockets. This means that all vehicles can be charged at a varying speed, while respecting the maximum energy available at the meter.
2) Load green
If you have solar panels, you can use the energy produced by them to charge your car. Our system will then use the energy not consumed by the building to charge your car. This increases your level of self-generation of green energy.
3) Regulate your energy bill
Whether you have an off-peak or peak consumption contract, our system adapts to your electricity contract in order to limit the extra costs. For peak consumption contracts, the system will smooth out the energy consumption as much as possible in order to flatten the curve, while for off-peak contracts, it will favour the time slot defined by your energy supplier’s contract to trigger vehicle charging.
4) Prioritise your expenses
For company fleets it is possible to prioritise the loading of certain vehicles that need to leave as soon as possible, leaving other vehicles to load more slowly. In this way, all vehicles will be loaded in time when the drivers take over the wheel. For example: the vehicle of a salesman will have priority over that of an employee who stays in the office all day.
